Staycation--I had a great week off, just spending time in Lincoln, enjoying Maya's first week of school, getting alone time with Herb, having lunch with my mom, doing stuff around the house, etc.

I don't generally follow boxing, but shout-out to Omaha native Terence "Bud" Crawford for last night's win, which made him the undisputed world jr. welterweight champion.

Road Trip to Kearney, Nebraska, with my goddaughter.
Coppermill Steakhouse & Lounge in Kearney.  Mud pie--yum!
Lancaster County Fair.  I'm sure Maya will get me to the midway this weekend.
Beautiful weather this week instead of the usual August high heat and humidity.  The older I get, the more the humidity has an impact on my energy level and mood, unfortunately.
