The cards and postcards in this post make me think of spring.  Is that at least in part because I'm beyond ready for the start of true spring weather?  Maybe!
Wildflowers of Washington postcard from Les in Maine.  Spring equals gorgeous flowers in bloom.
The Covered Wagon by Thomas Hart Benton postcard from Becky in Oregon.
A couple of initial cards from Wanda in Canada.
Card from Tami in Oregon of A Mother's Musings.

Saturday lunch--our tradition.

Hope you're having a great weekend.

Stationery--Paper Doll Printing & Design

I'm starting a new set of posts featuring places I go to purchase stationery.  Hope you enjoy reading the posts, and happy shopping.
I just placed my first order with Paper Doll Printing & Design.  I ordered all address labels, though there's a great selection of other items, as well, including personalized note cards and notepads, bookmarks, and invitations.
The designs are fresh, cute, and whimsical, and my package arrived amazingly quickly.  I'll be placing an order again soon!

This and That

Maya spoils Muffin.  This is the nest she made for "her" dog--two of Maya's pillow pets and a dog toy.  She also carefully placed them between our sofa and chair in the family room--a spot where Allie, our Rottweiler, can't fit.  Poor Allie; the cute, little dog is getting all the love again.

Happy Friday, and I hope you have a great weekend!

Read Across America Day--March 1, 2013

We joined Maya at her school on Friday morning for a book parade and reading time. The children each chose a book from the library to carry as they paraded through the halls of the school. Maya chose a work of historical fiction, a book written as though Queen Elizabeth I kept a diary as a young girl. Last year, she chose a book about Cleopatra.
